Fiery Oblivion

My brain is like a fire.
It burns a blaze so red,
Spinning me into oblivion
With the thoughts inside my head.
Escaping is not possible,
Theres nowhere I can go.
My haunted thoughts, my twisted mind
Envelope my radiant soul.
Memories are enemies,
I wish they were not there.
My life has done a drastic turn
But the embers always flare.
I keep the future at arms reach,
And conjure up this doubt.
I try so hard to just relax
And trust it to work out.
I live a pungent darkness,
As I smile my way along 
Terrified of demons,
Their grip intensely strong
My trust has been so broken,
And my emotions shattered too,
I trust that you do love me,
I truly love you too.
My mind tells me Im not good enough,
That beauty you desire...
I tell my brain to knock it off,
I just can't fight that fire.
My thoughts engulf my common sense,
Internal flames ignite.
The pain devours reason.
And there is no end in sight...

Moment in Time

As sunlight streams
throughout the room,
I put my arm up over you,
Inhaling our life together.
Perfection is the word,
That hits my mind like stone.
Its time to move and start my day,
As I lay briefly paralyzed.
There is nothing outside this feeling
That could pull my love away.
Inhaling deeply yet again,
The feeling moves throughout my veins 
Our loves become internal
My body thrives on it.
I wish the clock would stop its hands,
For just a little bit.
I want this moment to freeze in time,
As our bodies lay entwined.
Time doesn't stop and I must go,
Though only for awhile.
A smile stretches across my lips,
For the connection thats between us.
I've never been in love like this.
It leaves me feeling weak.
Forever in your grasp.
Take my heart and hold it
Amongst your treasury. 
I will be in your arms tonight
And your kiss upon my lips.
So until then, I think of you,
And embrace this memory
Of the moment when I held you close
And filled my lungs with the power of our unconditional love.
My strength.  My weakness.
My everything. 
I love you.

Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day!
Yes, its true!
The Earth gives life
To me and you! 

Today's the day
So plant a tree
And clean up garbage
That you see.

Today is Earth day,
Yes thats right!
Get outside,
And soak in light.

Its time to hurry,
Our Earth is sad.
We fill her up with garbage,
And treat her very bad.

She looks forward to this day,
Each and every year.
She needs to be replinished.
So get up off your rear!

Every day should be this way,
As she travels 'round the sun.
We take our world for granted.
We have no other one.

I ask a favor of you all,
To do your part today
Show our Earth some special love,
Before our children pay.
